In this article we look at the various different issues and factors related to weight and how to help and solve these issues permanently. These issues can be bio chemical as they can also be psychological.

Excessive weight and weight related problems are a very common issue in today’s world that effect people in many negative ways physically and emotionally. For this reason it is important to understand the reasons and how to find effective and lasting solutions to these problems.

Following a complete mineral balancing program should result in a desirable and ideal weight fairly quickly if done correctly. The vast majority of weight-loss programs are detrimental to one’s growth. They either starve the body, which can lead to more serious problems later, or they unbalance the body with unusual diets, excessive exercise, and the use of numerous medicines, herbs, and other things that do not address the underlying causes of weight gain and loss. This just puts the body under more stress and usually weight related problems will tend to return quite stubbornly.

The causes of weight gain can be classified into four categories. These are as follows:

1) an overabundance of food

2) Nutritional deficiency

3) Emotional aspects

4)metabolic abnormalities, such as fast or slow oxidation, or, in rare cases, a pituitary tumor

Let’s look at each of these different aspects more closely.

  1. There is an abundance of food available these days in comparison to past times.

Some people eat out of habit or because they are nervous. Others eat to “keep up their strength,” implying that eating stimulates them in some way. Others require additional food because the food they eat is of poor quality and deficient in nutrients, a common problem today.

Maintaining excellent, consistent eating habits, limiting snacking, having only the appropriate meals in the house, and avoiding situations where you tend to overeat are all ways to eat less.

Anyone can improve their dietary discipline if they so desire. Other suggestions include chewing thoroughly, replacing meals with a glass of water or tea, and going to bed early rather than eating late at night.

2. A diet that is unbalanced.

The most common dietary mistake today is eating too many carbohydrates, such as breads, pizza, donuts, potato chips, pasta, soda pop, French fries, Mexican food, chocolate, cakes, and sweets or candies. Weight loss is usually not an issue if one adopts a diet that consists primarily of boiled, steamed or preferably pressure cooked vegetables, with some fresh meats and whole milk dairy. Whole milk is generally preferred over skim or low-fat milk. Because the fat in milk fills you up, you eat fewer other foods. Fat is not to blame in the majority of cases of obesity. Other recommendations include avoiding all wheat products and, in most cases, all gluten-containing foods. These grains include oats, barley, rye, wheat, and spelt. To lose more weight, avoid all grains for a few months.

Use any method you can think of to limit or if possible completely avoid refined carbohydrates, such as eating only at East Indian, Thai, Chinese, and possibly a few other vegetarian restaurants. Avoid eating at Mexican, Italian, and American restaurants that serve breads, beans, and a lot of starch. Even though coffee is not generally recommended, a cup or two can be beneficial for weight loss. Avoid artificial sweeteners as well, as they can cause weight gain by tricking the body into thinking a sweet meal has arrived. This may subsequently cause the body to produce more insulin, which aids in fat storage.

3. Weight gain due to mental/emotional factors

-Mental tension. This impairs nutrition and frequently leads to unintentional overeating.

-Hiding behind the weight of one’s own body. Excess weight is used by some men and many women today to avoid the attentions of the opposite sex or for other psychological reasons.

-Hiding anger Some people who are overweight are angry or afraid on the inside. Emotional imbalances, on the other hand, keep some people slim. It appears to be dependent on how the individual reacts to the emotion in terms of eating habits and other minor details.

-Personality. Some people prefer to sit on the couch and drink beer while watching television.

They will naturally gain more weight than people who, for example, prefer to do strenuous sports.

-Eating for the sake of self-satisfaction. Food can be an emotional reward for some people, but it can also have other meanings for others. This can lead to a variety of eating disorders and food cravings.

WEIGHT GAIN AND SLOW OXIDATION
Slow oxidizers gain weight lower on the body, resulting in a more pear-shaped physique. The causes of childhood and adolescent obesity.

-Fatigue and depression are examples of slow oxidizers. Some people eat to “maintain their strength” or to improve their mental health.

-Diabetes and hypoglycemia. Many slow oxidizers have low blood pressure.

-Sugar levels are elevated due to a lack of adrenal glands activity. As a result, sweet and other food cravings emerge.

-Inadequate production of digesting enzymes. This may reduce hunger, but it also reduces nutrient absorption. This can result in an increased appetite for nutrition, the body craves the correct nutrients so signals to the body that it needs more food. This is one of the many reasons why everyone nowadays requires a powerful digestive enzyme with their meals daily.

-Excess insulin in metabolic syndrome (also known as syndrome X). In some cases, insulin levels may be elevated because the body is attempting to drive more sugar into the cells in order to boost energy production. Sugars are converted to fat as a result of increased insulin levels.

-Circulation issues As a result, fat deposits in the body may be more difficult to break down.

-Food sensitivities These are common, and they frequently cause bloating, gas, and water retention.

-Inflammation is a problem. Inflamed tissues swell with toxins that the body considers harmful, resulting in a watery appearance and weight gain. Even if they don’t have many other symptoms, most people who are in slow oxidation have a lot of inflammation in their bodies. Copper overload, zinc deficiency, omega-3 fatty acid deficiency, leaky gut syndrome, metal toxicity, and potentially other factors all contribute to inflammation in slow oxidizers.

-In macrobiotic terms, the body is in a yin state. For lack of a better translation Yin denotes something that has been extended. This can manifest as an increase in weight.

-Anorexia nervosa (anorexia nervosa) Copper toxicity and zinc deficiency are common in slow oxidizers. This has a number of effects on the body’s appetite control mechanism. It can cause anorexia, but it can also cause strange desires with regards to eating and a lack of appetite control.

-Water retention as a result of decreased renal function. Some people who are more ill may experience this.

-Toxicity of metals and chemicals The body can retain fluid to dilute certain poisons.

-Reactions to healing. A few slow oxidizers gain weight briefly but temporarily during balancing programs. Possible causes include a further slowing of the oxidation rate due to a variety of factors, or toxin removal from the body.

FAST OXIDATION AND WEIGHT GAIN

On would instinctively make the assumption that fast oxidizers would all be the same with regards to weight gain. The assumption would be they must be slim because their food burns quickly. However, many people in a state of fast oxidation are overweight. True fast oxidizers tend to gain weight around the belly and upper body, while the legs and arms may remain more slim. This tends to manifest as an ‘apple-shaped’ body type. The gut can swell, and this can be quite upsetting particularly for women.

Fast oxidizers can gain weight for the same reasons as slow oxidizers, such as the desire to obtain more nutrients, intestinal infections, or food allergies to wheat, beef, and pork. Other foods can be involved too.

Other causes of weight gain in fast oxidizers include:

-High cortisol levels and a Cushinoid body type. Fast oxidizers have more active adrenals. Cortisol levels rise as a result of this. Their bodies may develop a mild form of Cushing’s syndrome, a problem with the adrenal glands where high cortisol levels cause fat deposition primarily in the abdomen.

-Metabolic Syndrome or Syndrome X. This is common in many adult fast oxidizers.

-Increased insulin production. Fast oxidizers typically have slightly higher insulin levels than slow oxidizers. Insulin has a tendency to convert sugar to fat. Carbohydrate overeating stimulates insulin production, exacerbating the problem

-Water retention. Fast oxidizers frequently have a watery appearance when looking at their skin. This could be due to high tissue sodium, which causes some water retention.

-Excessive carbohydrate consumption. Starches and sugars, in part, degrade into water.

Some weight gain and loss is caused by a combination of fast and slow oxidiation. This is due to complex adaptations and compensations to various physical, chemical, and biological factors.

Biochemical and emotional stressors occur over a long period of time.

Finding lasting solutions for weight loss as with a balancing program.

Gentle balancing of the body’s chemistry with hair testing on a regular basis will help to unravel the causes of obesity. As a result, excess weight will generally melt away with little effort. There is no need for special restrictive, counterproductive or sometimes dangerous diets, surgeries. Medical treatments, drugs, bio-identical hormones, or other methods that are far less safe and frequently extremely toxic or harmful in other ways are not needed either The only issue which is necessary to emphasize with this method is that it necessitates some self-control and willingness to adhere.

To lose weight, fast and slow oxidizers can reduce all grains, fruits, and fruit juices to a bare minimum as these all promote weight gain.

Fast oxidizers, on the other hand, must consume more fats and oils or they will become obese. Both metabolic types should eat mostly steamed or pressure cooked vegetables, with a few meats and eggs added to.

Whole milk dairy that has not been pasteurized or homogenized is good especially for fast oxidizers.

Fast oxidizers can eat lamb and beef, though most beef is not a healthy food so it’s important to find pastor/grass fed beef and eat it in moderation. This is because beef today is a highly cross bred hybridized animal.  Other high-quality fats and oils include butter, particularly raw butter as well as cold-pressed hempseed, olive, and flaxseed

Cod liver oil is also beneficial, especially for children. Lard is not acceptable because it may contain harmful parasites and should therefore be avoided.

The following are some of the reasons why a lower-carbohydrate diet works well for most fast oxidizers:

-Consuming carbohydrates raises insulin secretion, which causes sugar to be converted to fat. This is most likely the main reason why a low-carbohydrate diet works so well for them.

-High-quality fats and oils provide calories and help to balance a high oxidation rate.

-According to Dr. George Watson, the Krebs or carboxylic acid cycle is more prevalent in fast oxidizers. When compared to the glycolysis cycle, it is more efficient. The Krebs cycle is where fats are converted to power As a result, they may feel better with more fat and fewer carbohydrates.

-Consuming carbohydrates depletes zinc more, causing sodium levels to rise even more. This, in turn, may increase stress and worsen water retention.

Things to avoid when it comes to losing weight:

-It is better and safer to avoid strenuous exercise for safety reasons.

-Also avoid radical weight loss regimens, drugs such as amphetamines, weight loss surgery, and any unusual or deficient diets such as vegetarianism, raw foods, vegan diets, or diets low in protein and cooked vegetables.

-Candida albicans infection This is an epidemic today, though it is only one of many. Intestinal infections are quite common. A copper imbalance, according to Dr. Eck, is a significant cause of this. Copper is one of the most important yeast-killing substances in the body. When copper is not bioavailable, the body is unable to effectively rid itself of yeasts. Other causes of the problem include:

-Sugars in the diet, including fruits, juices, and all types of sweets.

-In some cases, too many starches, particularly potatoes and grains. These are converted to sugars in the intestines, where they may feed yeast organisms

-Other important factors include the use of antibiotics, birth control pills, and steroids such as Prednisone. Other medical drugs may also be problematic.

-Low vitality for any reason may have an impact on the body’s alkalinity and copper balance.

-In some cases, mercury toxicity is thought to be related to infections such as yeasts.

A mineral balancing program will usually eliminate chronic intestinal candida completely along with other infections. This is usually achieved without the need for specific anti-infection medications.

As a result, avoid all wheat, possibly all gluten-containing foods, all sugars, and most fruits and vegetables. All juices should be avoided (this is difficult for some). The exception is that 10-12 ounces of carrot or a shot glass of wheat grass juice daily which is extremely beneficial in many ways. Unless you are extremely sugar-sensitive, carrot juice and wheat grass are so nutritious that it is worth drinking them if at all possible.

If an anti-candida remedy is required for a short period of time, natural substances are usually the best option because they are the least toxic and frequently work extremely well. Drugs of all kinds should be avoided because they are rarely effective. Good natural remedies are a digestive enzyme with ox bile and pancreatin, garlic, caprylic acid, or possibly grapefruit seed extract. Usually, even in the most stubborn of cases, no anti-candida medication is usually required if the body chemistry is properly balanced.
